Mr. Shahriar Gharibi, owner of the Oriental Palace, began to know caviar as a child, having been born not far from the Caspian Sea, his close and distant family worked for the producer Shilat.
In Paris, he became familiar with the different aspects of this product. As head of the Maison de l'Iran, Avenue des Champs-Elysées, he promoted its marketing.
In Switzerland for more than 30 years, he has been selling caviar to prestigious hotels and restaurants throughout Switzerland, to private aviation companies and to many private customers. He is also an official importer of record approved by the Swiss authorities.
On request, he organizes tastings for caviar lovers and chefs in his shop and laboratory located at rue du quai 8 in Montreux.
